She gained instant media exposure. Her most memorable professional career has been her involvement with the company that makes cosmetics Estee Lauder. Hurley received her first modeling contract at the age of 29, and has used her model for Estee Lauder's products since the year 1995. Vanessa Kensington was her most popular role as a character in Mike Myers hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me(1999).
